Bill Hutchens' recent credits include two short films (Henry, Desperados) that will be at the Short Film Corner at Cannes 2010. Other recent Film and TV credits include The Napoleon Complex Pilot Series (Zontash) which ran on Sky 199, Attack Of The Invisible People (Yuri), Amongst The Birds (Stanley), Legend of the Golden Fishcake (Michael), Talk (Jim), The Plot (Tommo), Laid To Rest (Jim), The Contest (Frank), Shadows (Mohammed), Lovers and Fighters ( Tony Miller). Sara Atalar trained for three years at The Urdang Academy on the Musical Theatre Course. Productions whilst training included Cabaret/ Sally Bowles, Mill On The Floss/Maggie Tulliver and Moby Dick/Stubb. Over the past year she furthered her study as an Artist in Residence at The Southbank Centre under the direction of Mary King. Throughout the year she performed in many professional productions, including Sandy Denny:A Tribute (Queen Elizabeth Hall) and The Rime of The Ancient Mariner (Young Vic/Southbank Centre) and has also been performing at various London music venues with her band Visions Of Trees.


Vernon Kizza Nxumalo is a young actor, writer & creative artist from London. His recent credits include: Mars Attacks Kingston (G Man, Gerald), Other Voices (Luke), Young Speakers (Tam) and Love Improviser (Cupid). Other recent Film and TV credits include: How To/We Are What We Do (Gregory), Our Opinion (Gang Leader) & Rumba & Roots (Presenter). Rob Young's feature film, Miranda, starred Christina Ricci, sold in 22 countries and won the Audience Award at London's Raindance Film Festival. He has been commissioned to write screenplays for BBC Films, Filmfour and Working Title. He has also written TV scripts for the BBC and Channel 4, a play for Radio 4 and ten theatre shows for the London stage. These include Obsession and Surfing (both Time Out Critics' Choice), The Shoe Shop of Desire (featured in a BBC2 documentary), Ex, Carbon Miranda & Tango til you're Sore (which were commissioned as screenplays) and The Man with the Absurdly Large Penis. "A fascinating playwright", The Times. Rob trained in theatre design and was an expedition photographer in Chile, Tanzania and Pakistan. He spent ten years in photographic archive and one month in a cave. He is currently co-writing a feature film and is the lead writer on a project for BBC Online.



Laura Casey is Artistic Director of Magpie Blue Productions and Artistic Associate of Upstart Theatre. She completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Theatre Directing at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 2009. Recent directing credits include: Mods and Rockers for Upstart Theatre (Midnight Matinee at The Tristan Bates Theatre), The Christmas Truce by Sarah Sigal and Deep and Crisp and Even by Jo Pinto for Upstart Theatre (A disused shop, SW6), The Old Man and The Sea adapted by Laura Casey (Cockpit Theatre), England by Tim Crouch (Karamel Club), The Pillowman by Martin McDonagh (Mountview Academy), Urban Legends, devised for That Theatre Company (Krudttønden Theatre, Copenhagen, Denmark) and Antigone by Jean Anouilh for The Improv Group, an abstract improvisation group led by Laura in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
